The Target technology upgrade project was designed to modernize and strengthen both the network and retail operations infrastructure. ITEKONETWORKS provided end-to-end services, beginning with structured cabling and MDF work to replace aging switches and firewall devices with high-performance equipment. This ensured a secure and scalable backbone capable of supporting advanced retail technologies.

We installed enterprise-grade access points (APs) throughout the store to deliver reliable, high-speed wireless coverage for both operational systems and customer-facing services. In parallel, we deployed new POS terminals and credit card payment machines, streamlining checkout processes and improving transaction speed and reliability.

By combining network modernization with retail system upgrades, the project created a future-ready infrastructure that supports Target’s commitment to efficient operations and enhanced customer experiences. The result is a secure, connected, and customer-friendly environment that strengthens Target’s position as a leader in retail innovation.
